Sarasota County Youth Baseball - Cal Ripken League
Welcome to Sarasota Cal Ripken (Sarasota County Youth Baseball, Inc.)! We are a volunteer run, 501(c)(3) nonprofit recreational youth baseball league for boys and girls ages 4-12 of all skill levels, beginner to advanced. We are located in beautiful Sarasota, Florida, right across the street from the Baltimore Orioles Spring Training Facility. Established in 1953, our league is the longest continuously running youth sports league in the area. Our goal is to provide a FUN, learning experience for our players and to make sure that all kids have the opportunity to PLAY BALL!

Registration for the Spring Season is now open! Registration will close on January 15. Players from any area of Sarasota AND now Manatee Counties are welcome to register in our league! We need your help parents!!! Parents who are new to our league or coaching are welcome to and encouraged to apply as well! The deadline to apply to manage a team for spring 2025 is January 1, 2025. All team based volunteers must complete both the application and the membership to be able to participate.
Florida Babe Ruth Coach/Volunteer Membership and Background Check
All Volunteers must have a current Membership, yearly background check and yearly online abuse prevention training. All coaches are now required to complete the Babe Ruth online Coaching course also. Returning volunteers can log-in to their Sports Engine account to check the status of their requirements.

EQUIPMENT DONATIONS NEEDED!
Please help us provide much needed equipment for players in need! Donate any gently used or new gear to our Swap Shop. Donations accepted Tuesday/Thursday evenings during games and during some weekends. We can also arrange an alternate drop off/pick up. Email us at calripkensarasota@gmail.com.
